The scouting train will start in 2014 together with international project groups from Berlin to reach Irkutsk via Poland, Belarus, Moscow.
25 years after the fall of the Iron Curtain, hundreds of scouts from a dozen countries will climb a train, the route of which will take them from Berlin to the deepest Siberia. In a unique campaign, the former Eastern Bloc along the Trans-Siberian Railway will be explored together with Eastern European scout associations, and the idea of international understanding will be promoted.
For this, conductors (project managers) are sought who come together independently from German scouts from the associations BdP, VCP, DPSG, PSG, DPV with scouts from the partner countries to form teams of conductors.
